Aims
Our Trustees have
prepared and adopted a series of strategic plans to guide the work of the
Association. These are used to develop an annual work programme, which is
regularly monitored and reviewed. A report is then prepared and published each
calendar year. The annual report is one of the key matters considered each year
at the Annual General Meeting of the Association, held at the annual conference
every summer.
As the UK stands at a pivotal moment for environmental law, UKELA remains committed to its mission: making better law for the environment. With a diverse membership of over 2,000 professionals and a strong charitable foundation since 1987, we are proud of our current five-year strategy from 2025 to 2030..
From 2025 to 2030, we will focus on making our work more accessible, strengthening communication, and investing in the tools we need to reach and support the next generation of environmental law professionals. You can read our Strategic Plan 2025 to 2030.
